We'll come back to you with a final quote, confirm the style and format, and check we have everything we need to get started. Once you're happy, we'll take a deposit and get doodiling.
You'll receive the artwork by email to review. We'll talk through the portrait together and make any amends until you love it.

When you're delighted with the result, we'll take the final payment and deliver your finished doodile — as a high-resolution digital file, or a printed piece ready to frame.

Once you've placed your order, we'll ask you to email your photos to hello@doodiles.com. Download our commission checklist for guidance on the kinds of photos that give the best results — good lighting, a clear face and a natural expression go a long way!

Turnaround time varies depending on the package and how busy the studio is, but as a general guide, standard commissions typically take 5–10 working days. Premium and group commissions may take a little longer. We'll always give you an estimated timeline when we confirm your order.

Absolutely — and it's one of the most popular ways to order. You don't need the subject to be involved at all. Just send us a few good photos and we'll handle the rest. We can even arrange delivery directly to the recipient if needed.

Standard packages cover a single subject. For couples, families or groups, get in touch for a custom quote — these fall under our Premium tier and pricing depends on the number of subjects and level of detail required.

Both! You can choose a high-resolution digital file (perfect for printing yourself or sharing online), or we can arrange a printed version for you. Let us know your preference when you order.
